Border Aussies

    Border Aussies are cross between two popular herding dogs; Border Collies and Australian Shepherds. They are highly intelligent with plenty of energy. Border Aussies are eager to please their owner which makes them easy to train. Their positive attitude toward life makes them a loyal companion and great for many activities such as herding, agility, hiking, and swimming. 

    On top of their obedience, the Border Aussie makes a wonderful working dog who, like its ancestors, fits into any farmyard and can herd like a pro with minimal training. Their attention span is never lacking and they are tenacious when on the job. Due to their high energy levels you do need to be prepared to give them a home where they will get plenty of exercise and mental stimulation. 

    Border Aussies are medium-sized dogs and are expected to reach a height of 17-23 inches and a weight of 30-50 lbs. They have a medium length coat with feathering and come in a variety of colors.
